About this Project

Publishing Genius is a small press that was founded in 2006 and operated by Adam Robinson. Since beginning, PG has released ten books which have been reviewed internationally. One book, Light Boxes by Shane Jones, was purchased by Spike Jonze's production company to be released as a feature film, directed by Ray Tintori.

Publishing Genius has released work by both national and Baltimore-based artists/writers. The Baltimore writers include Stephanie Barber, Michael Kimball, Ric Royer, Justin Sirois, and Joseph Young, among others.

Two Publishing Genius titles made the list of the top-50 best sellers by SPD, the company's distributor.

Publishing Genius started as a class assignment for Robinson's MFA at the University of Baltimore. It operates today by the good graces of Baltimore's very involved, very talented writing community.
