Overview

Driving by the streetcar one evening on my way home I decided to stop and explore the streetcar and the surrounding space, in my experience of that space I was further inspired to investigate through video and sound. I am interested in the different possibilities of the different mediums and how they can possibly work together. I have been returning to this same area repeatedly for over a year.

These still images are meant to be displayed with the Streetcar and Streetlight videos.
In previous installations images were presented as light-boxes with the original Streetlight video.

Overview

This video is part of an ongoing project that combines video, still images and sound recordings, which will be exhibited within the same space. It is an immersion into my experience of the space as well as an exploration of the phenomena of that experience.
I have been working on this project for over a year and it continues evolve and morph in concept and presentation.

Overview

This video was made to accompany the other videos and images in the Streetcar installation. This was made out of a desire to further explore my experience of the streetcar, and is representative of my desire to sometimes be an invisible voyeur free to explore my surroundings.

I would like to thank the volunteers at the Baltimore Streetcar Museum for allowing me access to the museum for this project, if you live in Baltimore or come for a visit do not miss the chance to visit this friendly and fun museum.

Overview

This was an installation working with found objects that was installed in the Gravity Gallery, otherwise known as-the elevator. It is a contrast on archetypes in cinema and real life, Tonto and the Lone ranger are on opposing walls joined by their ethnic likeness which are actual shooting targets. In between them is an old blank movie roster that the viewer can mentally fill in, the gaze of the images is heightened by the scale of the work in relation to size of the interior of the elevator.

Overview

This is an installation piece created from still images that represent x-rays that are presented on an actual medical x-ray display unit. This is in part meant to function as a critique that was created in response the daily reports on radio news about the future of health care reform and the current H1N1 pandemic scare, as I happened to be working on projects in an abandoned hospital at the time.
