Fled the DC suburbs in 1973; except for a brief sojourn in San Francisco in 1977, have become a Baltimorean. I love this city and my village; Hampden. Worked as a waitress at Haussner's, Martick's, and Gampy's to put myself through schools: MICA, Towson, and JHU. I've also been an executive secretary (in DC) and a school teachers and all sorts of things. Chabook, "A Religion of Skin" published by The New Poets Series, Inc. in 1981. Married to Reed Hessler since 1985.
