He looks forward to the 2011 release of his first full length feature film, Me Myself And Us, based on the one man show written by actor, Robert Lee Hardy.
In 2007 Bashi partnered with his wife, Sharayna Christmas-Rose (founder of Muse 360) to form Dancing Many Drums (DMD). Since its inception, DMD has been offered in over 12 Baltimore City and County Schools and has had 3 summer programs. Summer scholars have visited New York City to study at the Schomburg Center for Black Research and Culture and Ocho, Rios Jamaica to visit St. Ann. In 2010 we visited the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica to learn about the people of Limon.
Students attend various workshops that focus on key areas of the performing arts. Our goal is to encourage youth to have a sense of pride and individuality as they prepare collectively to contribute to a presentation on their diverse experiences throughout the program. DMD gives the youth of our community a chance to receive arts education beyond a traditional school setting.
