Bio

Bonnie Crawford Kotula investigates light and electricity through sculptural practice. She received her MFA from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2008 and her BA in Art from the University of Maryland College Park in 2001.
Crawford Kotula’s sculpture and installation has been exhibited nationally in South Carolina; Oakland,CA; Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, as well as internationally in Seoul, Korea and St. Petersburg, Russia.
In addition, she has coordinated and led several workshops on sewing circuits using conductive thread at School 33 Arts Center, AVAM and most recently in the Betascape tent at Artscape. Most recently, her work was exhibited in January of 2011 at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts.
Crawford Kotula currently works at the Digital Media Center at Johns Hopkins University.
