The eclectic mix of art in our Baltimore home; the BMA; private art lesson; my mom teaching me how to draw in perspective; MICA’s Young Peoples Studios; interior and architecture books my parents had; Art Scape; a fashion illustration book; Mr. Mac’s art class at Western High School; David Lynch; MICA’s Portfolio Studio; Four years of interior architecture studio classes at UNC Greensboro; Klimt; Edward Hopper; Scandinavian Design; traveling in Europe; oil painting class at Tallahassee Community College; participating at group art shows in Maryland: Ottobar, Angel Fall Studios, Illuminate, Carroll Arts Center, and Towson Art Festival; street artists; Chagall; winning the ED+LM Lounge Chair Design contest.
