God-given abilities, having only taken one art class at HCC back in 1981, and receiving an A way back then, I teach art. My students have been between 5 and 99 years, of age. I've tried every medium as advised by some Harford Artist Association friends years ago, and settled on all of them. I mostly work from photographs. Art is more than a passion - it's a life unto itself. When I have media in my hands, there is nothing else - not time, not hunger nor thirst, not anything, except the picture at hand! I honestly believe death itself would not be an option, were I in the middle of an artwork...
